Not worth the money to just drive up the hill and back, although my 4 year old had fun. States it’s an hour, took 30 minutes.

If you’re looking for Snow Adventure with history and geology experience, then this is the place to be! We enjoyed our Monster truck Tour w Mr Keith! He is such an amazing guide and very knowledgable on the mine history! The truck took us to the top of the mining hill on a sled! We also went looking for gold in the stream and my group were all so excited to pick up a bit of gold fleck! The mine tour was short and sweet. There’s also a small museum dedicated to the mine for free. Thank you to the Gift Shop staff and to John who amazed us with his knowledge on gems, minerals and mining around CO area! Oh best part: Darnit and Goldie! Who? Don’t ask me, JUST GO THERE!

Oh my goodness! What a great experience! Our kids had a blast on the hay ride and sledding!! Miner John was great with the kids! Highly recommend for the price and experience!
