For the young and the young at heart feeding time at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve is an exciting event. The sanctuary staff will be delivering food for the monkeys within the forest, attracting wildlife that inhabit this special place. Deer, tortoise, iguana, peacocks and of course the highlight is the Barbados Green Monkey. This short but fun tour visits the reserve just in time for this event. An added bonus to the tour is a stop at Barclays Park on the East Coast and North Point where you will enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic surf crashing into the cliffs.

    For the young and the young at heart feeding time at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve is an exciting event; deer, tortoise, iguana, peacocks and of course the highlight is the Barbados Green Monkey. The monkeys are not captive and therefore have the freedom to come in and out of the reserve. Feeding time is the most opportune time to view them at the reserve and we do see them there 99% of the time.  An added bonus to the tour is a stop at Barclays Park on the East Coast and North Point where you will enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic surf crashing into the cliffs.   • Specialized infant seats are available
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Our tours run with small groups of 8 persons maximum. If you are travelling as a family or group travelling together we can accommodate up to 12 persons. Groups or families booking 8 or more persons will have their own driver guide and vehicle for their excursion.
  • On our small group tours we require a minimum number of 4 persons to conduct the tour. If the minimum number has not been met we will contact you 48 hours before the time of your tour with a option to reschedule, cancel or continue your tour as planned by paying a service charge on the day which will be US$20 per person

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Highly recommend. Great guide. We missed our first pick up through our own fault and they re-booked us at no extra cost. The monkeys were amazing and the caves were an added bonus that we didn’t even know about . Plus a mini tour of Barbados as well

We misunderstood this experience as one where we would get to feed the monkeys in a small group :-/ . Our very efficient and friendly transfer driver explained as soon as we were picked up as it seems that this is a common misunderstanding made. Nonetheless we really enjoyed the experience of SEEING the monkeys being fed. The transfer was worth it as we were taken on a tour of the island and were able to stop for fantastic views and souvenirs! Glad we did the transfer as we got a more bespoke experience.
