Your Passenger Bobsleigh Experience begins with an orientation about your ride and track etiquette. You will then be shuttled to your start position where you will be fitted with a helmet. You will meet your pilot, and with the assistance of the track crew, be seated in the sled and go through the final safety checks. Listen as your team’s names are being announced on the big speakers! Once the control tower gives your sled the green light, track crew will give you a push, and you, your pilot, and your two fellow participants are off! As you will accelerate down the track, lean into the corners to assist your steering pilot in reaching top speeds of 125+ km/hr in the final corner. The uphill outrun will slow you to a stop at the finish dock, where the track crew will assist you to exit the sled. High five with your crew and line up for your commemorative photo. You have mastered the world's fastest track!

My wife and I took part in this exciting experience. There was a pilot (who had participated in several Olympics), another guest, and the two of us in the sled. This is an INTENSE ride! Only lasts 40 seconds or so, but wow!!! Visually, the track is flying by at an unbelievable speed. The ride is loud, even with the helmets. And you will get bounced around in the sled. We were told that riders experience 3-4 G's of force. At the end, I felt like I'd been tumbled around the washing machine. I did have the rear seat, which is the bumpiest. The seat behind the pilot is the "champagne seat" because it's relatively smoother. We hit 78 mph on our ride. Check-in was easy, and the staff is friendly. There's a brief safety talk at the visitor center. After you ride up to the track, there's another safety talk, and you get your helmet and an optional neck brace (I highly recommend one). And then you're ready to ride! At every point, the staff will ask if anyone wants out and they'll refund your money. The funds raised by these "public" rides help to support the track and athletes' training. I recommend buying the video. You get three different camera angles from the GoPros they attach to the sled. You'll want to share the videos with friends and family. Hang on tight and have fun!

Great experience. I had done this in Europe many years ago and obviously the tracks and the sleds are much better. The whole team here at Whistler did a great job of prep with all of us amateurs. One of those things you just have to do while in the Whistler area.
