Via Ferrata is a fun mix of hiking and climbing for non-climbers! Via Ferrata, is a vertical adventure, assisted by metal rungs, bridges, and a safety cable. Join an exciting and unique climbing experience. With awe-inspiring views of ocean fjords and mountain peaks, this is sure to be an adventure you won’t forget! This one-hour tour is suitable for adults and families with children ages 8 and up, and is a fully guided tour. Don't miss this on your trip to Squamish!

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Dress according to weather conditions, it can be a little cooler at the top of the gondola that at the base.
  • What to bring: Hiking boots or running shoes (no sandals), sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, backpack, water, snacks, all weather jacket, light gloves.
  • Bring a camera with a leash to capture the adventure
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

1st timer here and this event did not dissapoint! Working on tackling my fear of heights & this was the perfect event! It was just enough of a challenge, yet still be LOTS of fun!! Our instructor Victor, was exceptionally easy going, friendly & very knowledgeable. He was encouraging & very positive. The view is truly spectacular, you can't beat the back drop! And our guide was awesome about taking pictures of us, too! Pick a beautiful & clear day to take advantage of the Pilot & Co-Pilot mountain Peaks and then below is deep blue Howe Sound. Also before or after, once you get up on the Gondola, allot yourselves plenty of time to enjoy the Suspension Bridge & easy hiking trails and/or sit back on the deck & enjoy the view with Beer & Fries!

We had a really good trip today with our guide Emile who is very knowledgeable about the trail, local environment, and helping us having a fun and safe adventure, along with taking photos for our group. We are very happy that we booked the trip!

We had an amazing experience doing the via ferrata in Squamish through msaa. Our guide was Emile. He was fantastic. It was the perfect balance of exciting, informative, patient, encouraging and overall a great learning experience. Our boys are 11 and 9 – it was perfect for them. Our youngest says this is the best day in his whole life. He is already asking when he can do this again.
