Take short informal walking tour of the historical centre of Brno. On this 2-hour guided tour you will visit Brno's most interesting sights and their history. Unfortunately the guide was not very sociable or friendly and I had hardly any opportunity to ask questions. His knowledge seemed good but I could not recommend strongly.

If we understood correctly our guide was a last minute substitution for someone who couldn’t make it. While his English was decent his verbal pauses and other vocalizations made him a bit difficult to understand. In addition, when describing sights or history, his narrative meandered from topic to topic with no clear theme in any given thread pulling the thoughts together. After completely losing interest we decided to bail out 30 mins prior to the end of the tour. It’s hard to say “not recommended” because maybe the usual guide is great. But that was not our experience today.
