Explore one of the natural wonders of Ontario, where the water is turquoise and the forest surrounding it is snowy and peaceful. The Bruce Peninsula is located on Georgian Bay and this trip is a great opportunity to take a day to explore the areas magnificent beauty in the winter- without the large crowds that flock to its cliffs during warmer months. We will also be stopping by the quaint historic town of Wiarton (home of Wiarton Willie!) as well as Inglis Falls, which looks completely different in winter, transformed by ice and snow. Toronto EcoAdventures welcomes you to come out and enjoy the winter on our Bruce Peninsula day trip!

    You will see one of the most beautiful waterfalls in northern Ontario, with a bit of luck we might see it frozen!

    Here we will visit the famous Wiarton Willie statue and we will catch our first glimpse of the majestic Georgian Bay

  • Cyprus Lake, Tobermory, Canada
    Here is where our 30 minutes hike starts and here we will see Cyprus Lake Frozen!

  • Bruce Peninsula, Bruce County, Canada
    Here you will see one of the most surrealistic places in Ontario, if the lake is not frozen you will see the Turquoise waters of this part of the Georgian Bay and if it is frozen you will se some of the most amazing ice formations, it is a win-win

I was on a day trip to Bruce Peninsula with Toronto Eco Adventures back in July and loved it, and when our guide Javier told us about the winter version of the trip I knew right away that I had to go on that too––and the day really didn't disappoint! Bruce Peninsula and the Grotto are amazingly beautiful in the winter. Hiking and snowshoeing to the rocks on Georgian Bay is like walking around in an artwork or in a fairy tale. If you want to get a truly magical winter experience, this is the trip for you! This was the first time I tried snowshoes and I will definitely do it again. Toronto Eco Adventure rents out snowshoes and crampons. I've been on several trips with Toronto Eco Adventures before, and the guide Javier is really excellent at taking us to the best spots for amazing views and photographs. If I had gone there by myself, I know I would have missed some of these spots. It's really great to go with someone knowledgeable to show you around, at least the first time you go somewhere. I also appreciate that Javier is great at keeping our schedule and making sure that we get the most out of every day trip. The day was really well planned with a first stop at the beautiful Inglis Falls, before going all the way up to the north of Bruce Peninsula and the Grotto. This will not be my last trip with Toronto Eco Adventures!

Javier was amazing, he knows all the camera angles for the best pics and people who are body conscious. Javier has an amazing 360 camera that he knows how to use well. The tour is long and tiring I am not gonna lie but Javier made it entertaining. The end of the tour is at this burger place that was amazing. Highly recommend and will go on more of his tours.
