I was on a day trip to Bruce Peninsula with Toronto Eco Adventures back in July and loved it, and when our guide Javier told us about the winter version of the trip I knew right away that I had to go on that too––and the day really didn't disappoint!
Bruce Peninsula and the Grotto are amazingly beautiful in the winter. Hiking and snowshoeing to the rocks on Georgian Bay is like walking around in an artwork or in a fairy tale. If you want to get a truly magical winter experience, this is the trip for you!
This was the first time I tried snowshoes and I will definitely do it again. Toronto Eco Adventure rents out snowshoes and crampons.
I've been on several trips with Toronto Eco Adventures before, and the guide Javier is really excellent at taking us to the best spots for amazing views and photographs. If I had gone there by myself, I know I would have missed some of these spots. It's really great to go with someone knowledgeable to show you around, at least the first time you go somewhere.
I also appreciate that Javier is great at keeping our schedule and making sure that we get the most out of every day trip. The day was really well planned with a first stop at the beautiful Inglis Falls, before going all the way up to the north of Bruce Peninsula and the Grotto. This will not be my last trip with Toronto Eco Adventures!
