    Use all your senses in an interactive manner at the historical centre of Bruges, and discover the most fascinating aspects of beer. Learn more about Trappist and abbey beers, the many beer types, the brewing process, women and beer, food pairing and much more in an innovative way. For the youngest visitors (5-12 years) there is a Kids’ Tour, an exciting children’s story about the Bruges bear, which can be read or heard in ten languages. In the museum you will also find an amazing bar, where you can enjoy no fewer than 16 draught beers (gluten-free beers, soft drinks and alcohol-free beer are available as well) and the museum shop. In here you will find a wide selection of beers, ranging from local classics to limited editions.
  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Service animals allowed
  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Not wheelchair accessible. The Beer Experience is located on the first, second and third floor of a protected monument. Unfortunately, the building does not have a lift
  • Storage: free lockers are available

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Really good and informative experience. Audio/Visual experience with a headset and tablet. Interactive functions with excellent informational tutorials on the history of beers,the production process and topped off with a tasting experience on the lower level. The staff are excellent and helpful.

We made the tour with the tasting. It was very fun, the fact of using the senses, including smell, and having access to quizzes on our tablets was very interesting. On the other hand, I think the price excluding tasting is not worth too much! That's why I recommend taking the tasting with...

Tijdens deze Tour maak je door middel van een audiogids kennis met bier. Hoe bier gebrouwen wordt, wat erbij komt kijken en welke smaken er zijn. Je richt je tablet op een foto en krijgt informatie over wat er op de foto staat. Dit kan zijn hoe bier gemaakt wordt, en quizvraag, informatie over bepaald biersoort, etc. Interactief: je kunt dingen zien, ruiken, lezen en horen. Je kunt uiteraard ook een heerlijk biertje nuttigen na het einde van de Tour
