Our guided walk through the old city starts at the impressive 13th century castle that guarded the city and its medieval river port. Antwerp has now become one of the largest harbor cities in the world. Our Lady’s Cathedral is the most impressive church in the Low Countries. It welcomes you with countless paintings by world class artists of the 17th century. The absolute masterpieces are the Rubens paintings. We will also take you to the gothic guild houses at the Market Square. Antwerp railway station is a must-see. It is said to be the most beautiful railway station in the world. Nearby are the diamond district and the Jewish quarter. In your free time, you should try the local beer called a ’Bolleke’.

The north tower is 123 M high and the south tower is 66M. Houses the 4 main paintings painted by P.P.Rubens: "The raising of the cross", "The resurrection of Christ", "The descent from the cross" and "The assumption of the Virgin".

Really enjoyed the half day tour. Our guide Jasmine was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. She was patient too. The whole team at the Brussels city tour was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this tour company. Next time I am in Brussels, I will use their service again.

Our tour guide was good. The bus transportation was nice. But...
1) There wasn't much to see in Antwerp. Go to Bruges or Ghent instead.
2) It was like 3 hours on the bus for maybe 3 hours in Antwerp. Not an efficient use of time.
