We did 2 walking tours one in Buda and one in Pest. Both the tour guides Claudia and Sophia were great. They were very knowledgeable and share a great amount of information. The city is beautiful and if you have less time the walking tours are the best way to tour the city. #Loved Budapest

We had a grad student as our guide. Tongue in cheek humour, and a short but informative tour of the highlights of Castle Hill (there is no castle) and Fisherman’s Bastion and the Palace. It was a really hot day, but Beyla (Bayla?) kept up a lively commentary on what we were looking at, to other topics such as politics and everyday life in Budapest. He even introduced us to some pastries! Better than some paid tours. Look out for the guy with a purple umbrella - we did not know this at first and had to call Luna Tours to locate our guide.
