We had the most amazing experience with Anita from Budapest Locals! As a travel advisor, I’m always on the lookout for passionate, knowledgeable guides—and Anita exceeded every expectation. I came in knowing very little about Hungary, but left with a deeper understanding and a real curiosity to keep learning (I'm halfway through The Invisible Bridge based on her recommendation!). Anita shared Budapest’s history and culture with honesty and heart—covering the beautiful, the complex, and everything in between. She was also incredibly thoughtful about our mobility needs, checking in often and adjusting the pace without ever making us feel rushed. She went above and beyond, even following up with local recipes I can't wait to try. It felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with a local friend. This was a private tour with Anita. She was fantastic and very knowledgeable of the history of Budapest. We really enjoyed our tour. It was paced perfectly. We learned a lot in a short period time.
