Upon request the tour guide will go to your hotel or any alternative meeting point in downtown. Drop-off at your hotel is also possible if you require. Pickup and drop-off is on foot and by public transport, not by car. No extra fee is charged for this service.

My friend and I did this walking tour on our first day in Budapest. Our tour guide Diana was very knowledgeable and we found the tour interesting and it included many of the main tourist sights which was what we needed as first time visitors to Budapest. All in all, we would definitely recommend this tour.

Our guide Katalin, gave my husband and I a private tour of the city. We first visited St. Stephen's Basilica and then walked around different areas of the city. We then took the train to the Buda side. There we walked around different parts of the town, ending the tour in Fisherman's Bastion. Katalin was very nice and informative. We stayed in the area for a couple of more hours and had lunch. The only downside was that when we tried to visit St. Matthias church at 3pm, and they had closed it for the day. We had been told it was open until 5pm.
