    Mineral-rich hot springs from deep within Gellert Hill feed Gellert Spa, located on the right bank of the Danube, where an amazing bath culture has developed in Budapest since Turkish times. Constructed in 1918 and decorated with numerous Art Nouveau furnishings, Gellert Spa is famous for its main hall with glass roof, elaborate mosaic walls and detailed stained-glass windows. Choose from 13 indoor and outdoor pools filled with water from thermal springs. A natural temperature of 170 degrees F (77 Celsius), the thermal water is cooled down to different temperatures at the spa and contains minerals like calcium and magnesium, which are said to be good for your joints! You can also make use of steam chambers, saunas and cold plunge, or dip into the Roman-style swimming pool or outdoor adventure and wave pool.

  • Spa is not recommended for pregnant women

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Incredible photography of a place that is unfortunately not kept up. The bathrooms and changing areas are disgusting. The baths and pools are not kept up and in need of repair and care. It was extremely crowded on a Monday afternoon (standing room only in the center of the baths). I would definitely not recommend. I've been to thermal pools in multiple other countries and the experiences were night and day. At least we felt the huge entrance fee was a donation to this crumbling place to get back on it's feet. It's sad how rude the employees were to guests supporting the facility.

The baths are excellent, but Tripadvisor seems to be a fraudulent site as I paid on this site and never received any tickets or the Gellert did not have a booking BEWARE USING THIS TRIPADVISOR SITE TO BOOK ANYTHING - IT seems to be HACKED

The thermalbaths where not bad but the staff where very unfriendy eapecially the security at gate 2 because we did not know where to put our lockerbands when we exited gate 2 he started shouting in hungerian and i told him to speak in english as i did not understand and he told me no english and started shouting again,never going there again
