  • Village Museum, Holloko, Hungary
    Hollókő is the only village in Hungary that is listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1987. The unique village kept its original appearence from the 17th-18th century and still functioning as a living village not only as a museum. The other interesting sight here is the stunning Castle that remained from the 13th Century standing on the edge of a cliff.

  • Eger Castle, Eger, Hungary
    Eger Castle is famous of its victourious battle in 1552 when 2000 castle defenders including women and children could stop the whole Ottoman army of 150.000 people to invade Hungary and Europe. The castle was built in the 13th century housing spectecular exhibitons. Eger is also famous about its full bodied red wine, the Bull's Blood. Travellers can buy a bottle at nice local wine boutiques.

Absolutely loved this tour! Peter, our tour guide explained the history of the castle and Holloko very well. We had a lovely authentic lunch at a family-owned restaurant that made you feel you were eating a meal that people 300 years ago were eating. Eger castle was a great walk thru in time. A must do tour!

We had a wonderful day traveling in the countryside with our amazing driver and guide, Peter! I cannot say enough great things about him and the experience. The sites we visited were very interesting and made better by the knowledge of Peter. Conversation on the drive was great to gain amazing local perspective. Truly a treat! Thanks again! リチャードは、運転しながらのガイドさんでした。終始落ち着いて穏やかに接してくださいました。こちらが特に英語は堪能ではないので、よりわかりやすい英語を使ってゆっくり説明くださった印象です。 エゲルの歴史についての展示物が豊富でしたが，効率よく周り、説明が聞けました。教会の変遷、城を守るための数々の武器と城砦のつくり、地下道等等。 世界遺産の村ホッケロー村の買い物に没頭してしまい、時間がかなり超過してしまいました。お詫びしながら、感謝を伝えたいと思います。
