We had the best guide, Balazs. This excursion was one of the highlights of our trip to Budapest. Balazs was very informative, fun and he was easy to talk to. It felt like we were on a day out with a friend. Would highly recommend this day trip.

I went and would go again and again and again it's beautiful. The photos are sensational, it's a wonder to be in Zsentendre. And the food was delicious and very cheap. We ate at a pizzeria in the city center. They treated us wonderfully, excellent service, and we washed it down with a glass of aperoll. I had a lavender ice cream which I thought was delicious too. Everything there, the experience was unforgettable, I recommend it, and also, by the way, I tell you that I got my feet wet in the Danube

The village of Szentendre is definitely worth a visit. Charming, artistic and a relaxing interlude from the hustle and bustle of Budapest. There were four of us and we all agreed that we did not prefer our guide. Her spent too much time having us sit in a bench in the hot sun while he talked about history in too much detail. We studied up in Szentendre before coming and were looking forward to certain aspects of the village. But his long talking made fir a time crunch that did not allow for us to see some if it. We would not recommend our particular guide. Even so, we dint regret the tour here. In our private time we were able to experience some of the village people and we found them as charming as the setting was. We have always appreciated our Viator tours all over Europe but we feel our guide here let us down on this one.
