You will meet an English-speaking driver and transfer to Kampot town, where you will visit the Iron Bridge, River, French Building, Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple (Pre-Angkorian), Secret Lake, meet a French or English-speaking guide at Pepper Farm (La Plantation), and visit Salt Fields (available only during the dry season). Then, go to Kep Beach for a photo and enjoy seafood at the crab market. And then, the driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Phnom Penh City or drop you off at your hotel in Kampot or Kep if you stay there.

    Arrival in Kampot town. You will visit the iron bridge that crosses the Kampot River. It is an old bridge that was built in the French colony. Then, visit the old buildings and go to Phnom Chhngok Cave temple.

  • Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple, Kampot, Cambodia
    Travelling to Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple is off the road to Kep, but travelling there on the winding dirt road could be very tiring. However, passing past scenic views of the Cambodian countryside, featuring paddy fields, small farms and limestone formations covered in dense vegetation, should suitably compromise. The largest cave is the home of an ancient red-brick temple resting under a massive rock formation resembling an eagle. Chhngok Cave temple was probably erected during the 7th century, particularly within a pre-Angkorian era known as the Funan period in Cambodia.

    Wonderful tour with our driver to visit Kampot. Amazing small temple inside the cave and good tour guide at La Plantation. We asked our driver to Krab market where we can enjoy fresh seafood and crab with nice beaches. If you are looking day tour to Kampot I high recommend this tour

    It has been very interesting at the pepper farm and a real good thing about the development which takes place at the village there. About the travel: Our driver (introduced himself as simon) was punctual, very helpful and really good in english. Absolutely worth the travel, would it do it immediately again.
