    As an AAE exclusive, you’ll start your adventure paddling through the majestic Browns Canyon National Monument. It’s the perfect way to warm up, with some awesome Class III rapids and epic Colorado scenery.

    Look for our big AAE sign and large log entryways. The river's source basin lies in the western United States in Colorado, specifically the Arkansas River Valley.

There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe our experience. From start to finish, these outfitters know what they are doing. Tyler, who was our guide for both parts of the river rafting, had over 10 years experience on the river and was fully capable of taking a team of beginners or the most experienced of rafters on the water. His knowledge and technical skills were more than adequate, and he put us at ease from the start that we were in capable hands. Andy and Jordan were with us as guides on the second half of our trip, and they appeared to be just as capable as Tyler. We would not hesitate to return and do this again. It was an adrenaline rush like no other, and the scenery along the river just adds to the experience. If you do have the good fortune of having Tyler as your guide, there will be a geology lesson, a history lesson, and a fluid dynamics lesson in addition to the exhileration from the trip itself. Whether you decide on the family trip down the Browns, or the furiousness of The Numbers, it will be a thrilling adventure that you will remember for a lifetime.

Our guide was amazing! They were accommodating in getting us extra gear for the afternoon raft when it cooled off. The lunch was great and everyone was obviously very experienced. Would definitely recommend this group to everyone!
