We had a great day touring around gyeongju. Irene was a great host; explaining all of the sights but not in an overpowering way and was great with answering questions. Would recommend this trip for a more personal and flexible experience than the larger group trips.

Me and my teenage kids were visiting from Washington DC. We spent the day with Joy and it was such an incredible experience. My kids loved it. It is impossible to overstate what a wonderful guide Joy is. Extremely knowledgeable about Gyungju and can answer any question about the city and its ancient past. Not only is she a resident but she also grew up in Kyungju and clearly loves it. In addition to all the history, Joy will also charm and entertain your family with stories of her own childhood and family. The good places to eat and fun places to go. So much more than just the usual your guide. Me and my kids had so much fun with Joy. She is a kind and enthusiastic guide who will fill the day with fun and also have you fall in love with Gyungju (both its ancient history and modern neighborhoods). She also took us to a great noodle restaurant for lunch away from the tourist area that was frequented by only locals. It was so good and the atmosphere both genuine and delicious. All in all, Joy is a consummate professional and someone whose enthusiasm for her city and job is contagious. I highly recommend this tour and your lucky enough y to have Joy as your guide, you will not be disappointed!
