In addition to the Dudú Lagoon, a few minutes away you can find the Blue Lagoon (“Laguna Azul” in Spanish), whose water will draw you in. It’s a natural freshwater pool that’s so crystal clear that it’s easy to see the bottom and invites you to go for a refreshing swim. It’s the favourite among many Cabrera families due to how calm its waters are, allowing families with children to go for a relaxing swim without having to worry about waves.

    In the north of the Dominican Republic , between Rio San Juan and Nagua, lies the town of Cabrera, near the beautiful lagoon El Dudu, which makes little advertising. This park has 2 bathrooms, a large bathroom bears the name Dudu The Blue Lagoon and the other, slightly smaller, but no less attractive . Furthermore, there is a Taino cave of a length approximately 30 meters has , plus some landscaped gardens and facilities . In the big lake there are several ways to jump into the lagoon. Ropes were ( pendulum - type ) installed for people of all ages. After a couple of hours in Blue Lagoon we drive you to playa grande beach, which is located at the north coast of the Dominican Republic in a beautiful area of lush vegetation enriched by a changing palette of green and blue, rolling hills and the Atlantic Ocean.  It is near San Juan River. Playa grande one of the most beautiful beaches in the country and the longest on the north coast that carries its name very well.

    Located about 1km east of town, this small, peaceful bay with tawny sand, almond trees and towering palms is a good place to spend an afternoon.

    Here you will stop for lunch and have time to enjoy of the crystal clear water and of this golden sandy beach . On the Ámbar coast, near Río San Juan, one of the most beautiful beaches in the country and the longest on the North coast that bears its name very well. It has a wide strip of golden sand for several kilometers bordered by coconut trees, where one can isolate oneself. Before it was the favorite destination of the Dominicans during the weekends and now it is surrounded by large hotel complexes. But it is still accessible to visitors, who come from afar to enjoy its transparent waters. Restaurants, bars and musicians enliven the central part. To be calmer, it is best to go in the afternoon. Pay special attention to currents and heavy swells in winter.

Wow ! We had such a great day ! Our guide, Bridgido was awesome and so kind ! The meal was tasty, the dudu lagoon was spectacular and we enjoy all the places that we stoped. Thank you so much !

Diese Tour hat sich definitiv gelohnt, sehr viel gesehen und erlebt. Wasserfall, Lagune , Strand es war auch Zeit zum schwimmen und relaxen. Eine Obstplantage mit leckerem Obst war auch inklusive. Die Hauptmahlzeit war super lecker. Ich fand die Tour nicht stressig klar wäre man an dem einen oder anderen Ort gerne länger geblieben aber alles hat einmal ein Ende leider….Es war ein super Team hatten viel Spaß zusammen und ich würde jederzeit wieder bei Team Anthony buchen. Danke für die tolle Zeit die ich sehr vermisse.

Wir fanden die Tour super! Es gab ausreichend Getränke im Bus und das Mittagessen am Strand war auch sehr lecker (Salat, Reis, Pasta, Fisch und Fleisch und Obst). An der blauen Lagune (es gab zwei) hatten wir insgesamt eine Stunde. Da muss man sich ein bisschen beeilen - dafür hatten wir bei den restlichen Stopps ausreichend Zeit alles zu erkunden. Wer viel unterschiedliches sehen will ist hier bestens aufgehoben! :) Tipp: Peso mitnehmen! Es gibt oft die Möglichkeit (u.a. bei der Plantage) Mitbringsel zu erwerben. :)
