Super fun! Got to play and feed only while they climb all over you! Once in a lifetime experience! MUST do with a decent price per person. Also got to have fresh brewed coffee in a way you never see elsewhere. Probably the best coffee and hot chocolate I’ve ever had in my entire life! Overall amazing experience with very friendly tour guide and very friendly staff from Monkey Island.

We attended with three young grandchildren in December,2024. After our rough ride to the destination in an open truck we were directed into the enclosure for our brief, yes brief visit with the monkeys. Our exposure with the monkeys lasted approximately 10 minutes as the attendant fed the monkeys on our hands and heads. The bowls given to us were either empty or near empty. Then, we were directed through the mandatory gift shop and viewing of purchasable pictures taken during the brief exposure to the monkeys. Individual pictures were not an option. Either we purchased the entire set of 38 pictures for $40.00 US or nothing. Some were of poor quality( blurred or over exposed.) We were given the option of contacting Runners when we arrived home and purchasing the photos online. We chose this option which was suddenly $60.00US. When questioned about it, the price was dropped back to the $40.00 US. The process was cumbersome and time consuming . Back to the tour- we were directed through a wooded area pointing out native plants and then treated to hot chocolate, coffee and mama Juana. Oh, and of course you could purchase quantities to take home at inflated prices compared to markets near our resort. Then back into the truck equipped with poor quality seat belts. More like plastic straps and clips we use on backpack blowers and life vests. In all- it was worth, in my estimate a quarter of the approximate $300.00US paid for three children and two adults. Really can’t understand the positive reviews on this excursion.

Great excursion for the family! The monkeys are so cute and fun and lots of fun photo ops! Carlos and Berny were very energetic and awesome! Thank you for a great time!
