We had an amazing experience. It started with a hibiscus cocktail, then moved to making drinks, ceviche, empanadas, and tortillas, and finished with pork and flan. All was DELICIOUS. The property and hosts are charming. Highly recommend!!!

Such a fun night with Roberto as out chef guide at Metate. It included a welcome cocktail , a tour of restaurant, instruction on how to mix a cocktail at the bar, then food preparation and history. I wouldn’t really call it a cooking class, but there was a fair amount of hands on and I enjoyed learning the history and traditions associated with the foods we were making and enjoying. All of the waiters and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The only items we paid extra for was the bottled water, and any additional cocktails other than the two at the beginning. It was fun and different and one of a kind opportunity. Totally recommend! - you might be concerned driving up- but the space is very cool inside.
