You are not allowed to document your experience. you’re basically robbed of it. they document the experience for u , then make u pay for it. the price list is attached. we offered to buy single photos, no bueno…Since the Cactus Tour vendor at the resort didn’t inform us of the no camera policy, we wanted a refund, no bueno…. The insurance was not optional. u either pay $25 or let them charge a credit card for $500 in which u will get it bk in 3-5 days if they find nothing wrong with the equipment. they only accept cash, but will charge ur credit card $500 as an option for insurance? make. this make sense….. when we got bk to the resort, we came here to see the reviews. turns out we weren’t the only ones not informed of the no camera policy…some of the company responses were, the policy is listed on the website. THIS IS SOMETHING THE VENDOR SHOULD INFORM POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS OF. We also should have been informed of the no refund policy…JUST BEWARE…

Our family (including a 12 and 13 year old) did the camel rides with Cactus tours and it was amazing. The experience was laid back, fun, safe, and was even educational!!! Our guide was BILLY!!! He was the best…so nice, easy going, and helpful. Made the tour the experience it was. Pro tips: pay a little extra for the private tour. Gives you better pic opportunities (you can take your own…but there is a photographer, who is amazing, capturing key members. Buy the pics from them…great deal and you help creatives in the community). We loved our pictures. Be prepared to spend a little $$. After the camel ride, Billy took us to a cactus garden and gave the purpose and history of each plant. Very cool…even the kids were interested. Make sure you tip your guide well…this is how they make the bulk of their living. For the cost of a family order at Starbucks, you get the knowledge and culture of an amazing part of the world.
