You get on a large catamaran and first sail out to the arc for photos. The boat is ok, nothing special. It does have bathrooms. At the arc, they take photos of each group, which they try to sell later. On the way to the snorkeling spot, guests are offered two light beers. There's a stop for whale watching and we were fortunate to see several whales, and got fairly close, which was really amazing. When we got to the snorkeling spot near Santa Maria beach, we were given masks and life jackets, and told we had 30 mins to snorkel. We were not offered the kayak or paddle board, although there was one of each strapped to the side of the catamaran. The snorkeling on this particular day in late February was just ok. There were a lot of fish you could see but the water was a little murky and pretty cold, and the spot where we were was too deep to see anything on the bottom. None of the guides got in the water with us or provided any interesting information. Then back on the catamaran and the lunch is tortilla chips, salsa, guacamole, and little tuna fish salad sandwiches. All of which was just OK. The cocktails included the a splash of the typical cheap, generic alcohol, but they would add another splash if asked. After lunch, you sail back to the marina, and the bar is open along the way.
