They visit yearly from December to April as part of their migratory route, and here you can see them play, breach, and compete in the deep blue sea. Listen to them sing with onboard hydrophones and learn all you want to know from the expert marine guides. These fast boats are specially designed so everyone can get a clear view of these graceful mammals in their natural habitat

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Oh goodness, where do I start… our tour guide’s name was Shaggy. He was phenomenal. I can’t recall the other two people who were involved but they were excellent also. The views were amazing on the entire excursion. We started off going over to the famous arch, and Shaggy shared several tidbits of history and information about the arch and surrounding area. The snorkeling site was great- we saw several varieties of tropical fish and we even saw a stingray! I did not know kayaking was also included, which was a welcome surprise. It was a wonderfully relaxing time on the water. As we were heading back, we happened to see a few humpback whales breaching on the water. This was an unexpected pleasure, because the whales normally leave the area to head back to Alaska mid- April. When the tour concluded, we went back to the docks, where Vicki made us fresh quesadillas complete with homemade salsa and hibiscus water. All around an amazing way to spend the day! Highly recommend Shaggy and their team. We will definitely be back!

We had such a great time. Our guide Jerry and captain Shaggy made the adventure fun and educational. We saw quite a few whales and the views of the Arch were amazing.

Amazing experience of watching and yet preserving wild life. The crew was fantastic explaining as well directing us to appreciate and protect those wonderful beings. Captain, guide and photographer were very nice and hospitable to us. Photo credits to Nayeli.
