An absolutely memorable highlight of our time in Sardinia. Maria and her mother welcome you into their kitchen as if you are family. They spent time teaching us the stories and traditions of the island while cooking Sardinian pastas and dessert both of which were some of the best we’ve tried so far. A must do if you’re staying in the South!

The best experience! We are a family of 4 (2 children ages 4 & 8), and we had been really looking for a more intimate, family focused cooking experience in a more traditional setting, that we could learn and get involved in together as a family. From the very moment we arrived, we were treated with such kindness and grace, and our host, Maria Elena was super knowledgeable while keeping it interesting and engaging for the kids. We made first course, second course and dessert with a snack and wine sprinkled in as well. Maria Elena is very passionate about Sardinian cooking and sharing the traditional methods. The cooking class is held in a traditional Sardinian kitchen and it is a beautiful, simple, culinary dream. Maria Elena was very conscious of any food preferences (vegetarian, etc.) This is really a cooking class for anyone, small groups, families, couples, etc., we will visit Sardinia again and will for sure reach out for another class! The class isn’t far from Cagliari, and the town of Pula is adorable and doesn’t have the super touristy feel (but we also went in May before the summer season). We are still daydreaming about our wonderful experience!

This experience was one of our most favorite. We had a seamless experience from start to finish. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The home where the class was hosted was absolutely beautiful - exactly what you would expect an authentic Italian home to look like. The food was typical Sardinian food and absolutely fantastic flavor. We had fun learning to make these dishes from scratch. We would do this experience again!
