    Your first destination is the forest village of Carrbridge. Here, you can get some refreshments, breathe in the cool mountain air and wander around the Old Packhorse Bridge.

  • Cairngorms National Park, Scottish Highlands, United Kingdom
    Descend to the Glenmore Forest Park, where you have free time to explore. Your options include a walk through the woods to Loch Morlich, which is one of Scotland’s most scenic and popular Lochs. You can admire a sandy beach and large and ancient pine trees before you make your way back to the mini-coach. If you prefer not to walk, there’s a café and exhibition at the visitor centre.

    All this walking and fresh air must have worked up your appetite, so you head to Aviemore for lunch.

Amy and Duncan were great guides on this tour. Scenic stops around the Cairgorn but the highlight was the Tomatin Distillery. The distillery tour was very informative and interesting. The extensive whiskey selections in Scotland picks your curiosity on how it is made and astonishing how some of these techniques were around for 100's of years!

Really cool tour with a knowledgable and funny tour guide. The distillery tour was also interesting and fun. Would definitely recommend!

Amy and James took us on a spectacular tour of the Cairngorms where we saw lochs, fey haunted woods, Tomaton Whisky Distillery, the lovely wee villages of Carrbridge and Aviemore, and of course, MY FLUFFY COOS. The second our butts hit the seat in the van, I waxed poetically about the Highland Cows aka fluffy coos, and lucky for me, Amy was completely on board with stopping for a coo experience. On our way up the mountains, lo and behold, there's a farmer feeding his rather small herd of cows. Amy made James turn the van around, and while I didn't get to boop a snoot, they were fairly close. It was amazing. Honestly, the fey haunted woods of Cairngorm came a close second. Not sure if we actually saw any, but that's the idea, isn't it. We had a jolly conversation about the scaredy-cat Romans who had to build not one wall but two.
