Cairo Day Tour By Plane From Sharm El Sheikh

I arranged the day trip to Cairo just a day or two before leaving for our holiday in Sharm El Sheikh. Nabil and his team were very attentive and helpful over WhatsApp, and everything went smoothly. My daughter and I were collected from our hotel at 5:15 a.m. by Salah, who drove us to the airport for the short flight to Cairo. On arrival, we were met by Yousef, our guide for the day, and Said, our driver. We visited the old museum, where Yousef ensured we saw the Tutankhamun exhibits before the crowds arrived. After the museum, we chose to take an optional trip on the Nile before lunch. Lunch was amazing, and our vegetarian diets were extremely well catered for. We then visited the Pyramids and the Sphinx, which were incredible and the highlight of the trip. Yousef’s knowledge and insight really added to our experience, and Said cheerfully and skillfully navigated Cairo’s traffic. On our return to Sharm El Sheikh airport, Salah was waiting to take us back to our hotel. It was a long but unmissable day.

We went to Cairo by plane it cost more then the bus trip but in our opinion much better it’s a tiring day by plane so goodness knows how tiring it must be by bus. We were picked up at our hotel at 4.30am and taken directly to the airport by the driver who also had our flight tickets which we exchanged for boarding cards at the airport. At Cairo airport we were met at the airport by our guide clearly holding the Sharm smile card so it was easy to find him. He was a lovely man very knowledgeable about Egypt and the city of Cairo. We went to the pyramids first and he took some great pictures for us. Afterwards he took us to some shops with paintings and a perfume shop not the things we really wanted to do but no pressure selling . Then we were taken for lunch which was lovely but strangely drinks have to be purchased separately. After lunch we went to the museum to see the king tut collection which was magnificent. By the time we had finished our guide asked if we wanted to go anywhere else but by this time we were so tired and said we would like to go back to the airport to rest up before our flight back to Sharm which we did . On our arrival back at Sharm our driver was waiting and took us back to the hotel arriving back at 10.30 pm The trip was extremely well organised

A wonderful experience for my daughter and I. The guide was so knowledgeable and able to answer any questions we may have had. Both the driver and guide were polite and courteous and kept us fully informed of the day’s events and offered alternatives to the days planned events. I could not rate this experience high enough and would definitely recommend this experience to both solo and group travellers.
