The guide's English was very difficult to understand. Every time I talked or asked a question, he replied "yaya", which usually meant he didn't understand or didn't pay attention. He also pushed a lot for me to spend money in tourist traps (rug shop, spice shop, souvenir shop, etc.), which he called government-certified "museums", and was visibly disappointed when I didn't buy anything. It's obvious that he is getting a generous commission on sales and doesn't have your best interest in mind. He also tried to bring me to a "traditional" restaurant which cost 20usd for a lunch (way more than what a typical Egyptian lunch costs). The destinations themselves were very interesting and the guide seemed knowledgeable, albeit it was difficult to follow due to his poor English.

Between an incredibly knowledgable guide and getting to go inside the pyramids it is something I will never forget.

Ich dachte zuerst an eine Gruppe von Teilnehmern und war sehr positive überrascht, dass die "Gruppe" dann nur aus mir und dem Fahrer bestand. SUPER!!! Wir fuhren nach Sakkara ( die Pyramide ist nun OHNE Baugerüst / Feb.2023) danach ins wenig entfernte Dashur. Ich finde persönlich die Knickpyramide am schönsten, gerade weil SIE nicht ganz so perfekt gelungen ist. Für das Allgemeinwissen SOLLTE man dort gewesen sein!!! Hier nochmals ein großes Lob an den Fahrer -es war ein sehr schöner erlebnisreicher Tag. Wenn Sie ne Tour machen wollen OHNE große Gruppe, dann nehmen Sie NUR dieses Angebot (35.-Er.) Schukran.
