Abraham picked me up from the airport. Then we went to an Old City Bazaar, the ancient Egyptian museum in Cairo, it's a pyramids and Sphinx at Giza, including inside, a fantastic lunch, papyrus museum, a sunset Nile river cruise with live music, dancing and a delicious dinner, and he dropped me back off at the airport.
I only had 19 hours in Cairo and felt like I'd been there for 2 days with how excellent of a tour guide Abraham is. Everywhere we went the locals called him number one so if he's number one there you can bet he's the best travel guide.
Even when we were traveling from place to place he was giving a tour. An explanation of what I was looking at where we were going, when and why. He helped make sure that if I wanted to purchase a souvenir I did so at a competitive price, The food was great, and everything was included in the price of his tour which made things very easy. It would not be possible to put this together for the same price by yourself so this is really an excellent deal. Plus Abraham is a very nice guy and a pleasure to spend time with. There is a degree and certification that takes years to get to become a license tour guide and Abraham takes this very seriously and it shows and the quality of the experience. I was by myself and he helped me get some great photographs or I was actually in the photos too. In addition, he knew where to take the pictures, how to get in and out of places quickly, where to go, who to talk to and when to go where for maximum efficiency.I Washington DC with me and hope he will take me up on it.
Thank you for a great experience.
