The tour of Coptic Cairo started at the Hanging Church, which was stunning! Then we ventured around for me to see more of Coptic Cairo architecture, which I’m really interested in. I’m the afternoon, upon my request, Marwa arranged for me to do a cooking class with a local woman to learn how to make Egyptian food. This was by far the highlight for me! The food was so delicious and I loved getting to converse with Jasmin and her 5 year old daughter, Saba. I would highly recommend this if you like less touristy experiences while travelling.

Sherien was great! We spent 2 days exploring Cairo- Coptic Cairo, museums, Islamic Cairo… she is very knowledgeable, explaining a lot but then we also spent time just sitting in cafes and getting local food! I learned a lot, I had so much fun, I always felt super safe and looked after! Shukran Sherien!
