Amun Also Known as Amon, Ammon, and Amen, Amun was the Egyptian god of the sun and air. It was a wonderful private tour of Luxor from Cairo . We were promptly provided the air tickets from Cairo to Luxor by the tour operator who also upgraded us to business class on request . Our driver picked us up promptly on time from the hotel early morning and dropped us to the airport. On reaching Luxor our guide Sayed was waiting for us . He was a very entertaining person and we really enjoyed with him . It was great to chat with him and know about the history of the places and also his own experiences . He decided the schedule of the day from us and we were driven around in a car from place to place. We first visited the Temple of Karnak , then we did a boat ride on the Nile ( not in the package , but was about 15 USD additional per head) , then did the Valley of the Kings, followed by an all paid lunch and finally the temple of Hatshepsut. Sayed also treated us to Sugarcane juice which was very refreshing and the scenery of the place was opposite the giant statues of Colossi of Memnon that made it memorable . It was all in all a great experience . In between Sayed also took us to some optional places that help us experience the history and culture like the perfume shop , guide book , Alabaster factory and shop . You need to use your discretion on how much you like to spend here and ensure you don't get into pressure of buying what you do not want. We returned in the evening by flight and again our driver at Cairo was waiting and dropped us back off at the hotel . Overall very enjoyable experience and I rate this 5 star and would also recommend our guide Sayed .

They really saved our Egypt trip. Mohammed booked us a last minute trip to Luxor after a different tour company canceled on us at the last minute. They stayed in communication with us and really did a great job on planning our trip. We saw all the highlights and made it back to the airport in plenty of time. Our guide Khaled was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions about ancient Egypt. Khaled quickly rerouted the tour once he found out we hadn’t had breakfast. He took us to a nice place for breakfast and we had a great lunch as well. The tour was well organized and great for a family with children. I say enough great things about the tour. I highly recommend Khaled and Mohammed for those considering a trip to Egypt.

Luxor is a lovely city to visit. The Nile, the tombs and the various places of interest are great to visit. Kanak Temple is a MUST SEE - we stayed at a hotel along the Nile - breathtaking sunsets. There 'pushy' sales people everywhere and never pay the price they suggest. Always bargain and walk away if you need to.
