After searching for a suitable tour package online, we found the packages that noga tour offers are better than other companies.
Mr. Antar picked us up from airport, who I think creates very bad first impression to the tourists. When you are in a holiday, you definitely want to be sorrounded by smiley, happy peopl. But he was very grumpy, never smiled, not even to my children, didn’t speak anything during our almost 2 hour journey from airport to Giza only except an initial "hello" and that the owner Mr. Alfred is waiting for us in the hotel.
So the initial experience was not that good. But when we reached our hotel, we were greeted by mr. Alfred in the lobby who was a real gentleman. He explained us everything and also answered all our queries patiently.
The next morning we met our guide for next 2 days in Cairo - Fatma. She was the best guide for the entire tour. Very friendly, happy, bubbly, jolly persona, knows how to keep you happy and good with kids as well. She has excellent knowledge about the places we visited, she knows how to make your trip a good one and memorable. She is also an amazing photographer, later I heard she is doing her photography course. She is the only guide during out egypt trip who went beyond her boundary to accommodate all our needs.I would personally give her a 5+ star
Nile cruise we have been told that we are given a 5star Nile cruise but it was nowhere near a 5star cruise. The entire corridor and toilet were smelly. After complaining they changed our room but the new room also had the same issue. Rooms are very ordinary. I would give it a 3 star hardly.
The guide (forgot his name) took us to kom ombo temple was in a rush to leave us. He was with us for maximum of 10minutes and then quickly left us alone. We visited the temple during sunset timevandcwe wanted to take some photos while still there was sunlight but he was expressing annoyance for this and quickly wanted to finish his part so that he can go. He was constantly telling us to take pictures later after he is done with his expkanation even after we told him that after sunset we wont be able to take good picture in dark.A complete negative star for THIS man.
Another guide took us to Nubian village he was good.
In Luxor, the guide we had was an average guide.
But one thing to be cautious of is, we had been constantly ripped of for tipping during the whole trip. Someone took ur photo- give tips. Someone cleaned ur room-tips. Someone brought your luggage from the room to the lobby- tips. Another person took the luggage from lobby to the car- tips. Paid 500 Egyptian pound for 2 camel rides around the pyramid, on top of that we had to give 200 pound extra for tip! Mr. Antar smiled at us only once- after tipping him. All the guides forcefully made us bound to tip drivers (except Fatma, she is an angel). It was a fully paid package, but on top of that we spent more than half of our total package price for tipping. That was really disgusting and made our Egypt trip less enjoyable.
