For many years I have been planning to see Karnak and the Valley or the Kings. The tour guide was punctual, considerate, and knowledgeable. I also didn’t have to work so hard at seeing everything on the list of sites. Mission accomplished.

We enjoyed visiting Luxor so much. It is beautiful place with so many important sites to see. We had Ghada as a guide and she was so smart and fun. We really got so much out of the experience. We loved the lunch she picked for us and the private boat ride. Be aware, you will need to leave your hotel at 3:30am even though the description says 7am. Also our flight was delayed 2 hours on the return so only book if you have the time to make up the difference if you have problems with your flights.

Our tour guide (Hagag) was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all things Luxor! We started off the day with a bit a lesson on the etymology of the word "Pyr-Rah-Med" then went to each of the sites on the schedule. With each site, we were given a brief history lesson on the local landscape and how ancient Egyptians used the land. The highlights of the trip were 1) the temple at Karnak followed by 2) the temple of Hatshepsut. In both instances Hagag's passion for the history/material burst out of him... he even giggled at noticing some of the hieroglyphs which were getting restored. If possible, I would strongly recommend you ask for him by name as your guide.
