  • Stromboli, Stromboli, Italy
    Check in at the port of Tropea at 7.15, departure at 7:45 and after about two CIRCUMNAVIGATION OF STROMBOLICCHIO, SCIARA AND GINOSTRA, a typical village with its characteristic white houses and Aeolian architecture. In the immediate vicinity of the landing there are the suggestive black beaches, where it is possible to swim. Free time allows you to have an aperitif or dine in a restaurant with a sea view, stroll through the narrow streets of the picturesque village, go and visit the church of San Vincenzo or the Operations Center of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology on the Promenade or to observe the traditional fishermen.
  • Lipari, Lipari, Italy
    Second stop of the tour is Lipari, the queen of the Aeolian Islands. Stop about 2:30 h It is the largest island and seat of the municipality that also administers the other islands, with the exception of Salina. On the hill, a sheer lava rock that separates the two bays of Marina Corta and Marina Lunga, it is possible to visit the Aeolian Regional Museum, one of the most important in Italy, located within the walls of the fortified castle with a spectacular view of the coast. Also not to be missed are the Greek-Roman Acropolis and the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo of Norman origin. The historic center offers a variety of shops where you can spend your time shopping. In Lipari it is possible to take an additional tour on board the ship with an additional cost of 10 euros to be paid on board.

  • Isola Vulcano, Isola Vulcano, Italy
    A few hundred meters south of Lipari is the suggestive island of Vulcano, the last stop on our tour at approximately 1:45 hours According to Greek mythology, the forges of Hephaestus, the Greek god of fire, were located here. The reason is obvious: fumaroles and jets of steam can be observed at the top of the active Fossa volcano and under the sea water. Vulcano creates a particular, almost ancestral relationship between the island and the visitor. The island is the ideal place for trekking lovers, who will be able to reach the top of the crater to enjoy a priceless landscape (weather permitting!). Return to the port of Tropea at around 7.15 pm.

We booked a trip Stromboli-Lipari-Vulcano for Friday the 21 of October 2022 and paied the pre-reservation. The morning of the day we recieved an email confirming the trip but no ship came. Many people in Tropea said that no ship of this company was sailing any more for weeks.

Abbiamo fatto la gita Vulcano Lipari Stromboli by night il 3 settembre. L'itinerario è stato rispettato così come da prenotazione, partiti in orario, barca pulita e comoda, guida (Gaetano) piacevole con i suoi consigli e le spiegazioni (anche se non capisco come facessero a capire gli ospiti stranieri presenti, visto che nulla è mai stato tradotto in inglese a loro beneficio). Gita molto bella, panorami ed isole spettacolari. Noi abbiamo fatto la gita supplementare a 10 € a persona per vedere gli scorci più nascosti ed irraggiungibili di Vulcano e Lipari (bella). Abbiamo fatto il bagno solo a Vulcano (due spiagge a disposizionedi sabbia nera ed acqua calda) e visitato Lipari (bellissima). Gita soddisfacente! Comodo anche il servizio bar a bordo. Il ritorno è stato un pò "movimentato" a causa del vento di Scirocco che ha agitato le acque durante il ritorno dalla Sicilia in Calabria e ha dato non poco da fare a chi soffre la barca (rimane che questo non dipende certamente dall'organizzazione). Per quanto ci riguarda gita che merita molto e ditta di Navigazione ok.

Horrible is an understatement The trip was advertised as Italian and English speaking. 2 of us speak barely any Italian. One of us is FLUENT in Italian. The main guy speaking over the speakers was rambling on in Italian and the one that understands Italian, understood NOT one word. I questioned the lack of English and was completely brushed off by a crew member that understood me. But the crew member that was wearing a t-shirt with a lady in black stockings and lingerie was utterly disgusting. It was a FAMILY cruise ????. What a total lack of respect for all of us patrons that paid almost $80 Euro each. ????????????
