Just 9km from Caminito del Rey, we will make a stop of approximately one hour, in the picturesque town of Ardales where you will have free time to visit it at your leisure. El Caminito del Rey, Ardales, Spain The construction of a water channel from the reservoirs in the north to El Chorro was carried out together with a path for maintaining the channel. This one is known as El Caminito del Rey (The King’s Little Pathway) because it was first opened by King Alfonso XIII. This path, about 3 kilometers long, has stretched of less than 1 meter wide and it is hanging about 100 meters high above the Guadalhorce River. 180 minutes

Sur le caminito, il n’y a rien à dire c’est spectaculaire et très chouette. En revanche l’organisation du tour opérateur (on m’a dit que c’était Bravo Tours) est semble-t-il tellement axée sur le profit qu’il racole des clients sur plus de 60 km le long de la côte de sorte que pour 2 heures de randonnée plaisir on doit se farcir plus de 5 heures de car et, comme groupe est hétéroclite et nombreux, de longues attentes. Ardales est un village assez quelconque. En basse saison, si vous êtes à deux ou plus, la location de voiture et l’achat de billets en direct vous fait économiser du temps et de l’argent.

Very well organised, lots of good information as we walked. Stunning scenery. Unfortunately our guide, while being very knowledgeable, was rather arrogant and rude at times and took an aggressive tone with people when they asked questions.
