Starting from Piazza Pinto it will be possible to dive into a fascinating medieval history which, passing through the marquisal palace which was the birthplace of the famous bishop Luigi Pappacoda, promoter of the Lecce Baroque in the second half of the 17th century, will continue with the visit of the two noble chapels up to to the majestic mother church of the sixteenth century, a jewel of art in which you can admire works of the eighteenth century in Naples. Accompanied by the stories that characterized the Cilento uprisings of 1840 you will find yourself immersed in the fascinating history mixed with legend of this small Cilento village. At the end of the tour there will be a stop in a laboratory where the owner will explain how she makes her products and there will be a small tasting free time for shopping local delicacies, ceramics etc. We are located in the land famous for the Pisciottano and Alici olive trees.

Not great but really very very pretty. Many alleys but above all many steps. When you get to the viewpoint, in our case we were in the evening see the sea is the moon reflected in the sea... beautiful!! Well maintained.

Abbiamo visitato Pisciotta senza agenzia facendo delle passeggiate.Borgo bellissimo con vista stupenda sul mare che somiglia a un presepe.peccato che i vicoli sono pieni di cacche di cani e gatti, non per causa degli addetti alla pulizia che si danno tanto da fare ma per il non rispetto e la maleducazione di certi abitanti.la piazza sarebbe un bel luogo di incontro se non fosse in gran parte occupata dai tavoli dei ristoranti.il borgo d estate è difficilmente accessibile per mancanza di parcheggi e tanta gente rinuncia a venire per questo motivo. Il solito ritornello:si lavora 2 mesi estivi per poter vivere un anno intero e i turisti devono mantenere questo modo di vivere.a buon intenditore...!

Questo borgo medievale si trova nel Cilento a pochi km da Palinuro. Contiene angoli molto suggestivi tra edifici del Medioevo silenziose piazze in centro e bellissime terrazze che affacciano sulla costa tirrenica (Marina di Pisciotta). Presenti negozietti con prodotti tipici e souvenir
