• Tour departs from most Mérida or Cancun and Playa del Carmen hotels (depending the option selected). No service pick-up for hotels at downtown:
• For passengers staying at hotels located in the downtown of Cancun, the meeting point will be at the Bonampak Hotel.
• For passengers staying at hotels located in the downtown of Playa del Carmen or in its surroundings, the meeting point will be at The Reef Coco Beach, The Reef Playacar or The Reef 28.
You must contact the local service provider to verify your exact pick-up time. If location is out of pick up zone, the nearest meeting point will be assigned.

    Get picked up from your hotel in a luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle. Go directly from your hotel to the private entrance of Chichen Itza Archaeological Site, located at the Mayaland Resort.

    Go directly from your hotel to the private entrance of Chichen Itza Archaeological Site, located at the Mayaland Resort. From there you will have the chance to customize your itinerary to suit your liking. Explore the ancient Maya ruins with your private bilingual guide, learning about the ancient city's most important temples. Wander past (and photograph) majestic constructions like the Pyramid of Kukulcán, the Temple of the Warriors, The Ball Court, The Observatory, The Nunnery, and many beautifully conserved, smaller temples nearby. At the Mayaland Resort, enjoy a visitors welcome suite for just you and your group (maximum six people). The suite includes the use of a concierge, air-conditioning, towels, and an assortment of natural drinks. Inside the hotel, you will also have the chance to learn more about the ingenious culture of the ancient Maya civilization, by admiring the tales of the Mayan skies at the Mayan Planetarium (for an additional cost). The resort facilities also include buffet and a la carte restaurants (not included), a swimming pool, sun loungers, gift shops, and more. Your full-day tour ends with hotel drop-off.

  • No service pick-up for hotels at downtown, the pick up time at the meeting point will be notified at the moment of confirming the service.
  • Admission fee into the archaeological site is NOT included, and will be payable upon entrance. This is governed by the local municipality and our Tour providers have no control over this.
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Ask for Mauricio - he knows everything about the site, and he knows everyone who works there so he gets preferential treatment for his guests

Mauricio Cecares was an absolute delight of a tour guide, and a wonderful new friend! Extremely knowledgeable and very adaptable. He let us dictate the pace of the tour while giving us as much information as he knew we would enjoy about Chichen Itza and the rest of the state of Yucatan! We definitely recommend him for your next private tour!

This trip was AMAZING! I highly recommend the private tour (with Mauricio, if he's available). He picked us up from our resort (Vidanta in Playa del Carmen) promptly at 8 am and we were on our way. The ride to Chichen Itza was around 2.5 hours and he stopped for potty breaks as I needed them. He gave us SO much history of the area and of the Mayan civilization. It was HOT there so hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, and water are necessities. Mauricio has cold water bottles for us and took breaks so we could sit in the shade. Again, he was FABULOUS! He seemed to know everyone there and was able to show us some behind-the-scenes stuff. We spent around 4 hours at Chichen Itza and then Mauricio took us to a beautiful Cenote nearby (we requested this - the nice thing about having a private tour guide is that we do what we want to do!). We swam in the refreshingly cold water of the cenote and then headed back to our resort. Mauricio even drove us through an authentic Mayan town, which was fascinating! This was, by far, the highlight of our two weeks in Mexico. HIGHLY recommend!!
