This was one of my favourite tours. We were lucky enough to have Jesus and Felipe as our tour guides! They made the tour very informative while also keeping my attention! The comedy also included was very welcome! Definitely worth a trip with those two and Rahul the driver

Really good experience, with a long travel in bus, but a nice day with both guides whose are funny and explained very well and take time to answer questions. The Cenote is very impressive and beautiful. Thank you to Carlos and Enrique, very good guides !

Many reviewers have noted that the extra stop at a "Mayan Village" was a waste of time. That's 100% true -- this is an outdoor shopping mall named "Mayan Village," not a village. But the other two stops also weren't great, and I'd recommend a different tour provider. Chichen Itza is amazing (I'd been before) but we could have done as well with a 3-4 page guide book or a printout. Our guide, Israel, talked a ton but didn't provide prioritized or clear information. He spent almost half of his time talking about shopping "opportunities" that the trip provided and how other places to buy souvenirs were terrible and fakes (!). The cenote experience was especially infuriating. It was busy when we got there (a holiday week - not at all the tour provider's fault), but the provider had set aside an hour at the site which is not nearly enough if one wants to actually swim in the cenote. Everyone must rent a life jacket (not included) and the provider doesn't provide towels. Those must be separately purchased (not rented), with each of those steps requiring its own line. Then you can get in line to wait to swim in the cenote. If we had waited in all of those lines, we would have had about 20-30 minutes to swim in cenote, which didn't seem worth it. Of the 35 or so people on our bus, it seemed like only 2 decided to swim. Which made the whole stop seem like a waste of time. Finally, while the trip is billed as going from Playa del Carmen to the 3 sites (which are basically due west of PdC), we made a detour to stop in Tulum on the way there and back to pick up/drop off additional passengers. This made a 2.5 hour drive a 3+ hour drive, each way. In all, we left at 7a in the morning and got back to PdC just before 9p. Doing it again, I would just arrange a taxi or van to Chichen Itza and hire a guide there. The trip could have been hours shorter and more enjoyable.
