We have waited at front of hotel fm 6:50am ….till 7:10 am I called to the tour operator, was told the Driver didn’t see me! But the operator actually saw me on their monitor during the pick up time!!! I booked the tour before leave US and had a great hope for it. even the operator offered next day free tour replacement but our schedule was too tight before departure. it’s such a disappointment. At that early morning We we’re the only two people around the hotel entry waiting, It’s such a simple task for the drive to call out my name at Sidewalk, at lobby, how difficult job could be?! … I am speechless!

Great if you are in Playa del Carmen. The ride from Cancun took 4 hours on rough Mexican roads with lots of accelerating and slowing down for the speedbumps every 100m and the company made us walk 15 minutes from our hotel even though we were the only ones being picked up from downtown Cancun...... The tour guide we had for the Mayan village didn't speak English too well and didn't have too much information prepared but the other tour guide we had for the ruins, Victor, was amazing and wish we could have had him the entire time. The cenote and village itself were amazingly beautiful and the people were very friendly. the ruins were a lot of fun and they had bikes to rent cheaply which was really nice. their were also coconuts for 2.50 usd at the ruins which were amazing. the ride back took 3 hours and again, the company changed the hotel we stayed at in downtown cancun and made us walk 15 minutes back to our place while everyone else got front door service.

We took this tour from Cancun to Tulum, Coba, cenotes and to a small Mayan village for lunch. It was much better than we expected. Our tour guide Pepe was phenomenal and so kind. He knew so much history about the Mayans and we really felt we left with such a greater appreciation of the Mayan culture.
