I'm not sure I fully understand the value of transfer services in general. For roughly the same price I would have paid for a taxi to and from the airport, I had to putz around at the airport to find my driver (instead of vice versa) because our flight was delayed getting to Cancun. Took like 10m and asking multiple airport employees for help to connect with the driver. Then the driver had fairly cramped minivan, which he drove at breakneck speed. Not as comfortable as the taxi that we took from the hotel back to airport. Wait why did you take a taxi for the return? Because there was traffic getting to our hotel and the driver was 25m late getting there, and I was getting nervous about missing our flight. They communicate on WhatsApp and are somewhat responsive. If you've got a big group with a lot of bags, maybe this kind of transfer makes sense, but otherwise, if it's you and the wife/girlfriend with just a few bags, grab a cab and spare yourself the annoyance.

I was contacted via WhatsApp before embarking in Frankfurt, so I knew what exactly to do at Cancun Airport. The very next day I was visited at the hotel by a representative that had been also introduced via WhatsApp with a presentation clip so that you can recognise the person you are supposed to meet. We arranged details regarding the ride back, I received good advisement about the hotel rules and opportunities, I also bought three local tours. The prices were correct and I could be in touch via WhatsApp with the BDS representative for no matter what details or encountered situation. It was indeed very helpful. BDS representative that took care of us was a lady called Ofelia. She behaved correct, gave us valid information and really good suggestions.
