    Rio Secreto has evolved by adding on to its great adventure Rio Secreto Plus, a magical tour of the underground cave system, with additional activities such as rappel, cycling and a stunning light and sound show. Travel from your Cancun hotel to the heart of the Riviera Maya where this adventure takes place in beautiful natural surroundings. Take a bike trip on the natural trails to the rappel site, where you be fully equipped before descending 15 to 18 meters. Feel the adrenaline of the descent into the impressive cave. Watch the light and sound show in the room of peace within the cave. Follow the traditional Río Secreto route, where you will hike and swim through its beautiful natural rock formations and crystalline waters on a journey 1 km long. Observing stalactites and stalagmites on the way, you will not want this journey to end! A must for adventure lovers and explorers at heart.

This was so much fun! Bicycling, zip lining, rappelling, cave exploring. Wear sneakers and comfy clothes and bring a swimsuit to change into. They provide a wetsuit in case the water is too cold, bicycle helmets, helmet for the cave, and a lock for the locker.

My family had a great time at Rio Secreto with the plus package! My brother tried this experience a few years ago and wanted my family to try it this time around. He was so impressed that they added new activities for the plus package since he last came. Our guide Karina is amazing! My mom and aunt are elderly and she held my mom's hand and guided her through the waters. I was truly touched by her sincerity and care. Also, Marco, the mastermind behind many of the air activities (zipline, flying surf, etc.) is awesome. He apparently designed and built a lot of the newer activities and plans to continue adding to the offerings. We can't wait to come back. Only bummer is that our transportation had a mixed up and we had to go back to the hotel zone and pick up a family missed earlier in the day, wasting everyone's time. Also, we were bummed that you can't take your phone or camera with you and can only get photos of the experience from their photo packages. Our photographer was great but several of our family's photos were blurry or we had our eyes closed. Wish we could take our own GoPro and photos. Aside from that, love the experience. Thanks so much Karina and Marco!!! Coming back next year with more family and friends.
