Jose is a knowledgeable and patient guide! He shepherded us through two snorkeling spots along the reef, and though we didn't see any turtles or sharks this time, it wasn't for lack of trying (it was likely the weather/conditions — cloudy, overcast, with pretty turbulent waves). Jose pointed out a passing barracuda to us, and we spotted a ray hidden among the seagrass. We really appreciated the slimmed-down, no-frills organization of the trip; no need to fend off long brunches at random restaurants or vendors harrying down the street. Jose is brisk, punctual, and definitely wise in the ways of the water and the reef along Puento Morales. A great morning/half-day outing, which you can always supplement by a meal at a local restaurant or stopping by the public beach.

Did two snorkeling tours with Atma-Ha tours. Saw a variety of marine life, as Jose knows the sea very well. He pointed out things we might be interested in. The second tour was with a larger family group. He is great with the kids to bring them to the experience and appreciation of the sea.
