wrong tour!! I guess I severely overpaid for a full day experience to have a hiking guide for a few hours. Don't even know who to talk to about a refund. DO NOT BOOK through this website.

Nesta viagem á ilha de Santiago, encontramos no Sílvio da "Discover Santiago Island", simpatia, honestidade, profissionalismo, uma vontade enorme de oferecer aos seus clientes experiências únicas e, sobretudo uma amizade para a vida. Não tenho dúvida que sem a sua experiência não teríamos sentido o profundo e genuíno Cabo Verde, não teríamos tido acesso a paisagens quase intactas, não teríamos degustado a simplicidade das iguarias tão únicas nos sabores...ainda tenho na boca o gosto daquela espiga de milho cozido acabado de sair da panela, comido a muitos metros de altitude, numa paisagem de cortar o fôlego... Tivemos a sorte de, no final da caminhada, assistir ao festival do milho que se celebra no dia 1 de Novembro e sentir as gentes, os cheiros, as cores e os sabores tão marcantes...ai aquela cachupa e aquele bolo de milho e aquele cuscuz... Amei ouvir crioulo durante os meus dez dias em Santiago, se prestarmos atenção conseguimos perceber muito do que é dito á nossa volta, e também aqui o Sílvio faz questão de se destacar, fazendo papel de professor...Muito obrigada também por isto, Sílvio!
