Renting a boat through Capri Blue Boats was one of my all time greatest vacation moments. Italy in the summer can be suffocating with the huge crowds and high temperatures. Our entire experience with Capri Blue Boats was amazing. We arrived 20 minutes prior to our departure to get changed (they have a small bathroom) and apply sunscreen. We were led to a small dock and put on a dinghy that took us out to the Grozzo Fratelli Aprea where our skipper was waiting. On board we were provided towels, water, masks/snorkel, noodles and round inflatables for swimming. Our skipper Emanuelo discussed different options. We decided to skip the Blue Grotto and explore caves on our own and swim in various caves/arches where the water glowed too. Our skipper was an amazing tour guide explaining the geography and history of Capri. I cannot put into words how special it was to swim around rock formations in glowing blue water. My only regret is not renting the boat longer and staying on Capri. It was such a peaceful day and even my 2 teens were thrilled with the entire experience. My advise is to skip the Amalfi/Positano/Ravello experience (even with a private driver) and spend your time in Capri. Final note, rent a boat with a skipper, he avoided dangerous areas with falling rocks and was having to stop other boats and warn them.

Great tour! Antonio was an awesome guide. We got to see the entire island and the grottos were beautiful!
