This experience was pretty cool! Be advised that you will have a choice to not get your face submerged in the mud. You will have to use your own strength to get out of the mud so be mindful of that when you purchase! There will be women at the river to help rinse you off for some tips! The weather is hot in April so wear sunscreen on your face. Also, the ladder that is used to get into the volcano is very sketchy!

This is very fun, however, you should know that everyone you interact with will expect a tip. You don't have to leave your shoes in a bag at the top, if you do, he wants a tip. Have the local ladies help get the mud off you at the lake? Tips. Don't use them and they yell at you that this is their job--nevermind you may not want a stranger's hand inside your swimsuit. Use the outdoor shower? There's a lady who wants a tip. These tours should tell you beforehand AND tell you what an appropriate amount would be for each service.

Very unique experience recommend it. The ride was a little long hot but they gave us water. The only thing I didn’t like it was the tip issue. They were all fighting over the tip we left maybe the best thing is just charge entrance and no tip. Bc it was very uncomfortable to see them fighting over it
