This is a cultural and adventure activity where you will get to know the most representative places of Cartagena and Barranquilla in 1 day. In the morning we will pick you up early at your hotel, to go to our first stop which will be the Totumo Volcano; We will also visit the famous Pink Sea in Galerazamba (a municipality located between the department of Bolívar and Atlántico); We will continue our journey to a charming tourist location called Sombrero Vueltiao' which has an infrastructure similar to that of a sombrero vueltiao'. Here you will have lunch and you will be able to choose among the variety of typical dishes that this restaurant offers. The trip continues in the city of Barranquilla, in this city you will make 3 stops in the best parks and tourist monuments which are: the Venta del Mundo monument, the Shark Fin monument and the Malecón Puerta de Oro.

    We will pick you up early at your hotel (8:00 am) in an air-conditioned car, minivan or bus and then move to the Totumo Volcano. We pick up all tour participants at each hotel.

  • Volcan de Lodo El Totumo (Mud Volcano), Cartagena, Colombia
    Here you will immerse yourself inside the largest volcano in the entire area, but don't worry because this volcano has been inactive for several years, so you can receive a relaxing mud-therapy massage and enjoy its healing and rejuvenating properties. the mud (9:30 a.m.). The mud bath lasts approximately 10 minutes, after which you will go down to a lagoon located at the foot of the volcano to remove the mud from your body; In the lake there are some bathing machines that can help you get clean, but this is optional. We recommend you bring a change of clothes to use after this experience. NOTE: temporarily closed

You can choose the dish of food that you like the most from the variety of dishes that the restaurant offers. Drinks are not included.

  • Monumento Ventana Al Mundo, Barranquilla, Colombia
    The next stop will be in the beautiful city of Barranquilla (2:00 pm), here we will make 3 different visits. The first will be at the Window of the World Monument, where you can contemplate the cheerful architecture that reflects the Barranquillera culture, take photos and make videos.

    The second stop in Barranquilla will be at the Shark Fin Monument, an emblematic monument to the sports culture of this city (3:15 pm) here we will have a beautiful panorama of the real Barranquilla as many citizens frequent this place to spend the afternoon and drink magical photos.

  • Gran Malecon, Barranquilla, Colombia
    Finally, we will take a panoramic walk on the renowned Malecón Puerta de Oro on the banks of the Magdalena River, which has the best view of the city and a charming atmosphere. Visitors and locals from all over the country come here to have a snack, have picnics, exercise, take photos, videos and have a good time. The tour ends (4:00 pm) on the river bank, on the city boardwalk.

    We will return to Cartagena around 4:00 pm, the return trip lasts 2 from Cartagena to Barranquilla. The estimated arrival at the door of your hotel will be at 6:00 pm.

  • Museo del Carnaval, Barranquilla, Colombia
    Exhibition that includes the main manifestations of the Carnival of Barranquilla. The exhibition is divided into seven main themes through which the close relationship of Carnival with the Colombian Caribbean is captured. The objects in the collection transmit a strong symbolic charge and visual richness that are fundamental in the construction of an experience that brings locals and foreigners closer to the sensory world of the party. Enjoy and live a demonstration of dances and their music. You can take beautiful photos with the dresses of all the queens that have passed through the Carnival of Barranquilla. Closed on Mondays or Tuesdays (if Monday is a holiday).

Sarah was amazing!! We had great conversation and Sarah provided the history and details of the trip as we went along on our drive. We really enjoyed the mud volcano and the massage, which we were fine to pay extra for. It was a great day for gaining more knowledge about the history of Barranquilla and Cartagena.

This tour for the volcano is very common place in Cartagena, but this one is the only one I've seen so far that actually includes Barranquilla and it's cultural landmarks. This tour is of great value and the quality of the service and food is uncommonly high for Cartagena's normal standards. Totally recommended and worth it.
