This was an enjoyable, authentic experience in Cartagena. We have visited the city before and opted for this tour, as my husband is a coffee enthusiast. It was nice being in a small local coffee shop with just 6 people. David knows his coffee! He imparted so much coffee knowledge using maps, coffee history and multiple coffee making devices. I don't drink coffee so didn't sample much but my husband really enjoyed it and we were able to select some Colombian coffee beans to bring home.

I arrived to the location, a beautiful coffee shop with local charm. The class is amazing. I got to learn about the history of coffee and learn from someone who really appreciates their craft. My only disappointment is the misleading text of them session. It was described as you would get to choose your bean roasted and grind it yourself. All of which never occurred. The master performed everything in front of us audience. I enjoyed learning, but this was advertise as a more hands-on experience and I was left wanting.

I really enjoyed this experience. I’m a coffee lover and wanted an immersive experience and that’s exactly what I got. You can see the love the owner has for his craft. I also enjoyed the 80s/90s music references that filtered through the presentation. As for the coffee - amazing! I should’ve bought more.
