I booked the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour under the impression that there would be pick up and drop off at the cruise terminal; however this was not the case. We received an email that the pick up would be at another location in Cartegena while we were already onboard the ship. Communication with the local tour operator was not possible as we had not book an internet package with the cruise ship. We had to pay for our taxi rides. This also happened to another couple that we met at the pick up point. The advertised 12 stops was also reduced to 8 stops and the wait time for the next bus was 1 hour; this is much longer than hop-on hop-off buses in other cities. Recorded information in English on the bus was also very sparse. The representatives on the bus were very friendly; however, the many street agents who were also trying to sell the tours were quite aggressive and sometimes did not seem sincere. Overall, we were quite disappointed with our booking and would not recommend it to friends/family.

The advertised bus route of 12 stops was reduced to 8 stops and the frequency of buses at each stop was 1 hour. This is a much longer wait time than Hop On Hop Off buses in other cities. Perhaps this was due to the shoulder season; but this was not mentioned.

Was very disappointed with viator. Was not able to locate hop on bus anywhere. Asked around but no one could help us. Another couple had the same experience. First time using viator, don't think I will use again. Had to pay again another bus line to take us sight seeing.
