    It is a historic building of almost 3,500 square meters, located in the walled city of Cartagena de Indias, which is divided into two large wings: Colonial and Republican. The history of navigation and the Colombian Navy. Colonial Wing: It was built in colonial times, it preserves intact the architectural structure with which it was built in the early seventeenth century to become the headquarters of the first school of the company of Jesus in America and the late eighteenth century. The building served as the headquarters of the mayor hospital of San Carlos. After independence, it became the San Juan de Dios charity hospital. Republican wing: Name that has been given to the neoclassical architectural design that was used in the modification of the room in the 20th century, to serve as a shelter for the first infantry battalion of the Colombian Navy. Touring its facilities is a time of great battles and embody great characters who led the independence of Colombia.

Este tour me dio la oportunidad de vivir una gran experiencia en la ciudad amurallada de Cartagena. Recorriendo y conociendo sus calles disfrute al máximo de su cultura e historia. Como fotógrafo, esta es una gran oportunidad para realizar excelentes fotografías ya que en cada calle y rincón encontré misterio, magia y encanto. Es un escenario que se presta para asombrar a todos con su asombrosa arquitectura republicana y colonial. Recomiendo 100% a todos vivir esta enriquecedora experiencia. I visited Cartagena with my couple and had a great time, our Concierges Sofia and Miguel did a great job, they are kind, knowledgeable and passionate about their city and their work. We booked a bird watching in the National Aviary, where we could see a wide variety of birds such as the harpy eagle, the Caribbean toucan, the pink flamingos and many more. During the experience, we were able to enjoy a bird show that surprised us. The aviary team is professional and committed to the environment. You can see that all these birds are well fed and treated We really liked the culture of this vibrant city during our walk and taste experience in the Old City. The Cartagena concierge team is the way to go if you are looking to plan an amazing vacation without worrying about anything but relax and enjoy
