Victor and Frey gave us the experience of a life time. It was such an honor learning about the Palenque culture, the language, the hospitality and rich history. We learned how to make candy, about their healthcare, the taste of their amazing food. When in Cartagena, I highly recommend visiting.

Sophia was excellent in giving the oral history and taking us on a journey. Was beautiful. Carlos was also excellent. We enjoyed the whole experience. The food and hospitality were top tier. We were welcomed warmly. 10/10

This is the best place to go to learn about an Afro Latino culture that is still preserved regardless of their colonization back in the slavery days. Our tour guide, Victor, was absolutely amazing! He was funny, knowledgeable, and turned our experience into an interactive conversation where he challenged our thinking about what we knew and educated us on what we didn't. The food was amazing. The history lesson of the people and town was intriguing. The bata dancing was exceptional. It was the day before my birthday and I was celebrated. I love that this is a family owned business because it keeps the people of the town of palenque thriving, while exposing tourist to a life, a culture that is preserved through decades of history.
