You must be patient because traffic is sometime a problem. We will enjoy a panoramic tour through the beautiful city of Cartagena until we take the national highway or Vía al Mar route that connects Cartagena de Indias with Barranquilla towards the rural area of the municipality of Santa Catalina, Bolívar we will appreciate the relief of the mud volcano and the Ciénaga del totumo

We had a spectacular time. I booked the experience the day before, and was contacted by the company within the hour with the information about the meet-up time and location. Jennifer was a great guide from start to finish. Very diligent and attentive to everything we needed. The experience itself was unforgettable. I would recommend going in the AM tour, before it gets too crowded. We were lucky enough to be the first to arrive and had the experience practically to ourselves. Once we left, there were easily more than 50 people in line waiting. This tour is not meant for everyone. You need to climb up and down a set of steep stairs that get very slippery due to the mud, which may not be suited for kids or older adults.

The Tour Operator is very bad. They say that if we are late by 5 minutes we will be. Insiders a No Show. But they came 35 minutes late. The vehicle they sent was very old with non existent air conditioning. All 10 of us continued to roast. Very Poor Overall rating for the Tour Operator

We initially had trouble finding our bus/guide. We then called our guide, and after that, everything went smoothly. Along the way, we received all the important information we needed for the trip. My children and I would do the tour again anytime and can highly recommend our guide, Aisa, and our bus driver, Diego!
